Privacy
This page explains how StylePick handles your photos and information.
Photo storage
Your uploaded photo and the generated profile photo are used only for the diagnosis and the image generation. They are never permanently stored on our server or database — both stay in your browser's memory and disappear when you start with a new photo or reload the page.
External APIs
We use the Anthropic API for the photo diagnosis and direction recommendations, and the Google Gemini API for generating the profile photo. Your uploaded photo is sent to these APIs for these purposes.
What stays in your browser
So that the same direction isn't generated twice for the same photo, your browser's session storage keeps only a SHA-256 fingerprint of your original photo and the ids of directions you already generated. The photo itself, the generated result, and AI-written text are never stored, and these values are never sent to our server.
No account required
StylePick can be used without creating an account. We do not separately collect personally identifying information such as your name or email address.
Usage identifier
To manage daily usage limits and share bonuses, we store a random device identifier in your browser's cookies and localStorage. This identifier does not identify you personally and is used only to count usage.
Single-person photo policy
During the AI diagnosis we check how many people appear in the photo and whether the face is visible enough, but we do not perform identity recognition or facial recognition. Photos with multiple people or no person never reach generation — a notice is shown immediately instead.
