The expensive part of changing how you look is not the haircut. It is the six weeks afterwards, when it turns out the idea was better than the outcome. StylePick puts the looking before the committing: one photo in, and a version of you with different hair, different clothes and different light comes back out.

Before — what you uploadedA — same you, better dayB — the unfamiliar one
Illustrative examples generated for this page. Not real customer results, and not photographs of a real person.
Why two, not one
One direction confirms you. The other one surprises you.
A makeover that only shows you a tidier version of what you already do is a waste of an upload. A makeover that shows you a stranger is a waste of your attention. StylePick returns both ends of that range deliberately, from the same face.
A — your best today
No transformation at all, on purpose. Your current hair, clothes you could be wearing this afternoon, better framing and light. It is the control group: proof that the change in B is a decision, not just the difference between a good photo and a bad one.
B — the you you didn’t know
Same person, different set of choices. Hair length or shape, wardrobe register, posture, crop, the colour and direction of the light. This is the one people screenshot and send to a friend with no caption.
The part that makes it a makeover and not a picture
An image of you with a different haircut is a nice thing to look at and impossible to act on. StylePick Entry includes a change plan describing what was actually done, in terms you can carry into a salon or a shop.
Hair
Length, shape and how it sits — described so a stylist can work from it, rather than left as an image you hold up and hope about.
Wardrobe
The garment, the register and the fabric weight that direction B is built on, so you know what you would be looking for rather than buying the whole outfit in the photo.
Colour
What the palette is doing against your skin and hair, and which part of it is carrying the change. Usually fewer decisions than people expect.
Framing and light
Where the camera was and where the light came from, so the next photo anyone takes of you is not fighting the same problems as the one you uploaded.

Before you upload
Do I have to change anything in real life?
No. Plenty of people use this purely to look, decide the answer is no, and close the tab having lost nothing but a photo upload. The change plan is an offer, not an instruction — a short description of what would have to be true for you to look like direction B, which you are free to read as a curiosity rather than a to-do list.
Why don't you ask me what makeover I want?
Because the interesting answer is usually not the one you would have typed. A questionnaire can only return the styles you already know the names of; it filters out exactly the direction you have never tried. StylePick asks for the photo and nothing else, reads what is actually there, and proposes. If the proposal is wrong for you, direction A is the conservative read and stays usable on its own.
Does it change my face, my body or my age?
No. Identity is the fixed point of the whole system. What moves is hair, wardrobe, pose, framing and light — the things you could genuinely change between now and next month. Nothing is slimmed, smoothed into someone else, or aged up or down, and we make no claims about how any of it looks.
What is actually in the change plan?
The concrete changes behind direction B — the kind of thing you could repeat to a stylist or use while shopping, rather than an adjective. It exists because a picture of a different haircut is useless if you cannot describe it to the person holding the scissors.
Can I try a completely different direction afterwards?
Paid plans are not on sale yet. You can try a free preview now, and pricing will be published when sales open.
What happens to the photo I upload?
It is not saved to a StylePick database and not written to permanent browser storage. There is no account to create, so nothing accumulates anywhere. If you want to keep the results, save them yourself when you get them.
Look first. Decide later.
One photo, no questions, and nothing to cancel afterwards.
