AI headshots

A headshot from the
photo you already have

A booked studio session costs a morning, a fee, and a small amount of dread. StylePick asks for one photo and nothing else — no questionnaire, no style quiz, no sign-up — then reads the face, the light and the framing in it and proposes two directions worth photographing.

Two directions

Most headshot problems are wardrobe and light, not you

Two people can be photographed identically and only one of them looks employable, because one of them was lit from the side at the right distance in a collar that holds its shape. StylePick separates those variables from you and moves them, then shows you the result twice — once played safe, once played differently.

A — your best today

The same you, cleaned up. Same hair you have right now, the wardrobe you would plausibly own, corrected framing and light. This is the version you can send tomorrow morning without anyone at work commenting on it.

B — the you you didn’t know

Identity kept, everything else on the table: a different hair length or shape, a different wardrobe register, a different pose and crop, a different lighting temperature. It exists to show you an option you would not have thought to ask for.

What a headshot has to survive

A professional photo rarely gets viewed the way you view it. It gets cropped, shrunk, and put next to other people’s. These are the four things StylePick is actually adjusting when it rebuilds the shot.

Distance

Phone selfies are taken close enough to distort the nose and jaw. Headshots are taken from further away with a longer lens. The result is framed as if it were.

Light direction

Overhead office light puts shadows under the eyes; a flash flattens everything. The directions place a key light off to one side so the face keeps its shape.

Neckline and shoulders

At thumbnail size, most of what reads is the top of the garment and the shoulder line. Collar, layer and fabric weight are chosen deliberately, not left to whatever you wore that day.

Background separation

A cluttered room competes with your head. Backgrounds are simplified and tonally separated from your hair so the outline survives compression.

Questions people ask before uploading

What kind of photo should I upload?

Anything where your face is clearly visible and unobstructed, with one person in the frame. A phone snapshot is fine. You do not need studio lighting, a neutral wall, or a jacket — those are the things the result changes. What the photo cannot do is hide your face behind sunglasses, a hand, or heavy motion blur, because everything is rebuilt from the face it can actually see.

Will the headshot still look like me?

That is the constraint the whole product is built around. Hair, wardrobe, framing, pose and light are treated as changeable; your face is not. Direction B changes more than direction A does, but it changes the styling around you, not your identity. If a result stops looking like you, it has failed at its job, not succeeded at it.

Can I use these for a passport, visa or company ID?

No. These are not identification photos and must not be submitted as such. Official ID photography has strict rules about background, expression, headwear, lens distance and whether the image was generated at all, and StylePick output meets none of them. Use these for bios, speaker pages, about pages, portfolios and profile pictures.

How many images do I actually get, and at what size?

Paid plans are not on sale yet. You can try a free preview now, and pricing will be published when sales open.

What happens if I dislike direction B?

Then keep direction A. It is the conservative read of the photo you gave, so there is rarely anything to argue with there — direction B is a proposal, not a verdict, and you are free to ignore it.

Do you keep my photo?

No. Your upload is not saved to a StylePick database and is not written to permanent browser storage. There is also no account to create, so there is no profile for the photo to be attached to.
